For the makeup in the photo, I chose a light shade of satin texture and marsh color - to match the model's eyes, to make the makeup monochrome and more casual. I only needed two brushes: a flat one for application (also suitable for working on the lower eyelid) and a fluffy one for creating a soft haze.
I didn't use a primer because it's a lightweight makeup that can be done in two minutes. But if you have a tendency for eyeshadow to crease, then it is better to apply a base under the shadow for durability.
