Restoring vision using the method of Professor V.G. Zhdanova

It's time to take off your glasses!
Do you have nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism? Do you wear glasses or contacts, but are you terribly tired of them? Do you want to see the world clearly at any distance? Did you know that vision can be restored at any age? If your eyesight has deteriorated, you don’t have to put up with it; you don’t have to wear glasses or contacts for the rest of your life. The eye muscles - transverse and longitudinal - are responsible for good vision. The main cause of vision impairment in the vast majority of cases is poor functioning of the eye muscles. Knowing this reason, you and I can easily restore vision. If you start using glasses, you will undoubtedly see better with them. But over time, your vision begins to deteriorate more and more. Why is this happening? This is due to the fact that when you use glasses, your eyes relax and the eye muscles do not need to work and strain. This leads to the fact that the eye muscles lose the habit of working, shifting all responsibility for your vision to glasses and lenses.

Who is Zhdanov

Vladimir Georgievich Zhdanov is a famous Russian public figure. He is the chairman of the Union for the Struggle for National Sobriety. Zhdanov conducts lecture courses in which he talks about how to improve vision in non-medical ways. In addition, he is known for his methods of getting rid of alcoholism, smoking and restoring vision.

Many people know Zhdanov from courses in vision restoration based on the Bates method, supplemented by the Shichko technique.

Professor Zhdanov Vladimir Georgievich

The Bates method is based on the fact that the process of accommodation is carried out by influencing the shape of the eye by the muscles that surround it. Bates argued that the main cause of visual impairment is mental stress. Each type of refractive error (myopia, farsightedness) has its own type of voltage that causes this anomaly.

Scientific titles

In addition to the Siberian Humanitarian-Ecological Institute, the fraudster Zhdanov introduces himself as a member of the International Slavic Academy, its professor and head of the department of psychoanalysis. The problem is that the ISA is a “socio-political organization” and not an educational or scientific institution. But a professor is a person who, as a rule, has an academic degree of Doctor of Science and is engaged in educational and methodological work. In fact, in the absence of departments, students, lecture courses and scientific research, Vladimir Zhdanov innocently dubbed himself a “professor” and now shakes orders only to show off and self-aggrandise in front of a gullible listener.

The scammer also introduces himself as “the president of the International Association of Psychoanalysts.” Such an organization really exists, only Russia is not represented in it, and they have not heard of any Zhdanov there. Official IPA website, association leadership page. The current President of the IPA is Charles MT Hanly.

Definition of methodology

The technique is based on the work of two famous scientists: Gennady Andreevich Shichko and William Bates.

Bates said that due to the fact that our eye changes its length with the help of the oculomotor muscles, an image of an object is built in it. On this basis, a set of exercises was created that promote relaxation and eye exercises to improve vision.

Psychoanalyst Gennady Shichko created the so-called Shichko ladder, without which, according to Zhdanov, it will not be possible to restore vision.

The staircase consists of six steps. Each step is a bad habit:

  1. Program. This includes our environment, family, newspapers, television and so on, which lay these habits.
  2. Communion. Once you lay down a program, it is not always easy to start acting on it.
  3. Habit. Regular repetition of any action.
  4. Need. The need for action.
  5. Installation. Actions or needs become the meaning of life.
  6. Grave. There is no going back.

Vladimir Zhdanov claims that wearing glasses is a bad habit that can and should be fought. If you try to correct your vision with glasses or lenses, they will only have a negative impact on the functioning of your eyes. If a person puts on glasses, the muscles that regulate the length of the eye stop working. Therefore, over time, glasses have to be replaced with stronger ones.

Zhdanov’s method of restoring vision consists of keeping a diary and regularly performing a special set of exercises for the eyes. According to the professor, within a week your vision will become much better, and you can forget about glasses.

The characteristics of children with visual impairments are described in this material.

You need to keep a diary using this method to make notes about what you want. Thanks to such self-hypnosis, a person programs himself for a good result.

The effectiveness of the method depends on:

  1. Suggestibility of a person. Suggestible people have a high probability of improving vision with functional impairments.
  2. Diagnosis. If the cause of vision deterioration is stress, and the eye has not changed its structure, it is very easy to restore it using this method.
  3. Systematic implementation and desire. The result will only come if a person puts all his efforts into it and does a set of exercises and journal entries regularly.

The technique also involves complete abandonment of contact lenses and glasses. But if this is not possible, then it is recommended to change lenses and glasses to weaker ones. This will activate the work of the extraocular muscles.

Zhdanov says that it is possible to completely restore vision if there is a desire and a specific goal is set. In this case, the effect will be significant. But you shouldn’t hope that your vision will be restored in a couple of weeks or months. But it happens that even after the first month positive results may appear. The main thing is to maintain faith in yourself and your strength.

Who can do it and who can’t?

The practice of visual gymnastics is recommended for all categories of people diagnosed with astigmatism. But in some cases, charging will not bring any effect and may even cause harm to health.

Contraindications include:

  • What eye exercises can help treat astigmatism and restore vision?

    blepharitis and conjunctivitis. Exercise can stimulate the production of tear fluid and metabolism in the eye structures. In inflammatory processes of an infectious nature, excess fluid will provoke an even greater spread of inflammation and pathogenic microflora;
  • retinal detachment . Any physical activity or tension is contraindicated for this pathology. The sensitive retina under load can further detach from the vascular network and lead to irreversible loss of vision;
  • condition after surgical intervention on the organs of vision . Without consulting and prescribing a doctor, any exercise is contraindicated. They can cause stitches to come apart and cause bleeding.

IMPORTANT! Even if the patient has no contraindications to gymnastics, one should not be too zealous and overstrain the muscles.

Exercises according to the method

Palming

If your eyes get tired or you work at the computer for a long time, you need to stop and do this exercise. Before starting, you should rub your palms together to make them warm. You need to close your eyes and cover them with your palms. It is recommended to keep them this way for five minutes. There should be no gap between the palms and the head through which light can penetrate. Having a positive mindset is very important. After this, your eyes feel as rested as in the morning. If desired, you can increase the duration of this exercise.

Can it be cured with visual gymnastics?

Visual gymnastics for astigmatism is designed to solve several problems:

  • prevent deterioration of visual perception and progression of the disease;
  • relax the muscles of the eye and relieve fatigue;
  • prevent the development of complications;
  • eliminate headaches that often accompany astigmatism.

Exercises will not help to completely get rid of the disease, but in the initial stages of the pathology they are effective - they partially improve focusing and visual acuity.

Ophthalmologists prescribe gymnastics in combination with other therapeutic methods - spectacle correction, drops, contact lenses. In advanced cases, even these methods do not bring results - treatment is possible only through surgery.

conclusions

Zhdanov’s technique is aimed at restoring vision without any surgical intervention. But do not forget that you need to make a lot of effort to restore your vision in this way.

This technique contains a number of effective eye exercises to improve vision, as well as keeping a diary. It is based on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, giving up alcohol and tobacco. Zhdanov says that it is necessary to observe morality, maintain mental balance, and adhere to a healthy diet. All together this will allow the eyes to return normal vision.

Debriefing

Zhdanov is mainly engaged in retelling traditional sobrilogical propaganda.

A detailed analysis was made by a graduate student of the Faculty of Bioengineering and Bioinformatics of Moscow State University, a junior researcher at the Institute of Information Transmission Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and a scientific columnist for Novaya Gazeta Alexander Panchin[10]. The militant disinformer Zhdanov did not want to do his homework and even familiarize himself with the school level of biology, not to mention studying anything from modern scientific literature. Alexander Panchin also expressed doubt that any of the alcoholics came to their senses after listening to pearls about “farting bacteria” with eyes.

In addition, back in 1985, G. A. Shichko criticized Zhdanov’s lecture in the article “Against absurdism in anti-alcohol propaganda.” In his article, G. A. Shichko points out many deliberate distortions, which is unacceptable in promoting a sober lifestyle.

All of Zhdanov’s lecture and seminar activities have a very clearly expressed financial and entrepreneurial background, in particular expressed in his unethical, intrusive distribution of the products “Tentorium”, “Vitom” and other dietary supplements.

Main criticisms

  • A. Panchin “Outright Lies - Zhdanov and the Hidden Truth”
  • G. A. Shichko “Against absurdism in anti-alcohol propaganda.”
  • K. Volsky “Can and should we trust every professor?”

Discussions on forums

Poor vision can be a result of poor diet and lack of essential nutrients. For those who want to improve their vision, below are some foods useful for maintaining eye health.

  • Carrot . Rich in Vitamin A. Beta-carotene, which is a precursor of Vitamin A, plays an important role in many biochemical reactions in the body. Benefits of Vitamin A/Beta Carotene include supporting superficial linings in the eyes, intestinal, genitourinary and respiratory tracts.
  • Fish. These include sardines, mackerel, cod and tuna. These fish are a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, especially DHA, which plays a critical role in the structure of cell membranes. Recommended for people with dry eyes and for maintaining vision in general.
  • Greenery . These include spinach and kale. They are rich in carotenoids and lutein, which are of particular interest. It is a pigment that protects the macula (the part of the eye deep in the center of the retina) from sunlight.
  • Eggs. They contain sulfur, cysteine, lecithin and the same lutein. These substances may protect against cataracts.
  • Onion and garlic. They are also rich in sulfur, which is necessary for the synthesis of glutathione, which is an antioxidant for the entire body, including the lens of the eye. Sulfur protects the body from damage and deterioration of health, and this also applies to the eyes.
  • Fruits and vegetables. They contain a lot of vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E and beta-carotene. Carrots are good for daytime vision.
  • Blueberries and grapes. They contain anthocyanins, which are good for night vision.
  • Nuts and seeds. They contain zinc, which is important for retinal function. Zinc is also required to release vitamin A from the liver, which then enters the eyes.

All of these foods provide the eyes with essential nutrients to maintain good vision. In addition, you can take other foods that contain vitamin C, vitamin B, selenium, zinc and magnesium.

Exercises to improve cerebral circulation

Zhdanov lecture on vision restoration Day 1 (full version...

So, feet shoulder-width apart, everyone looked at me, blinked, blinked, made a central fixation on me, blinked, blinked, blinked, just in my direction, then at me, focused attention on the face, well, let’s say, on the beard. We blinked and made central fixation.

So, first exercise. Everyone carefully laid their heads and ears on their shoulders. One two three four. (Note from the site author: tilt your head to the side, trying to touch your left ear to your left shoulder, then your right ear to your right shoulder, repeat.) One, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. They shook themselves and blinked.

Now everyone raised their heads up, all the way - once. On the count of two - straight ahead (Note from the site author: that is, we look in front of us.). On the count of three - down, resting your chin on your chest. On the count of four - straight. Let's start. And one, and two, eyes open, and three, and four. One two three four. And one, two, and three, four. They shook themselves and blinked.

Now we turn our heads left and right. We begin to turn our heads towards the window, without making any sudden movements. We turned our heads towards the window once. Straight two. Three to the wall. Straight four. One two three four. And one, two, and three, and four. They shook themselves and blinked.

And now the shoulders. Raise all the shoulders up - once, back into place - twice (Note from the site author: lowered the shoulders.). They pulled down - three (we slightly bend our torso forward, stretch our arms to the floor, our shoulders stretch together with our arms) and four (starting position). One two three four. One two three four. And one, two, three, four. They shook themselves and blinked.

The next exercise is shoulder rotation. Let's start. One, two, three, four and five. (Note from the site’s author: we rotate our shoulders in a circle - forward, down, back, up.) We shook ourselves and blinked. Reversed. One, two, three, four and five. They shook themselves and blinked.

Tilts to the side. Hands at your sides, let's start towards the window. One, on the count of two - straight, three, four. One two three four. One two three four.

Hands on the waist and rotation of the pelvis. One two three four five six. And in the opposite direction - one, two, three, four, five, six. They shook themselves and blinked.

Warnings!

And now a question for the audience: “Whose eyes hurt today?” Hands up. Well, about 25% have eye pain.

Why do my eyes hurt? This is the same effect as we plant potatoes in the spring. We've been lying on the couch watching TV all winter, and suddenly we're carrying bags like crazy for three days, dripping dirt.

After that what? All my muscles hurt for a week. It's exactly the same with you.

Your eyes slept for a long time, and you gave them a load, and for them this load was not significant, and they responded by getting sick in their eye muscles.

Eye mobility exercises

And in front of you, put a piece of paper with these exercises that I distributed to you today. If you don’t have one, sit closer to your neighbor.

So, all the exercises are done without glasses. Definitely so. In this case, the head is motionless, only one eyes work and the exercises are done smoothly, without any jerks, without any sudden movements.

And now everyone took off their glasses and made a central fixation on me. They blinked-blinked-blinked-blinked, looked in my direction, blinked-blinked, focused on my face, blinked-blinked at a fragment of my face, or at the microphone. We did central fixation.

We made a central fixation on the plate. [From the author of the site: you can download and print the table on the page “Sivtsev’s Table for Eye Testing”] Looked towards the table, blinked-blinked, a white spot, blinked-blinked, upper letters, blinked-blinked and the right or left letter. We focused our attention on her and blinked lightly.

So, exercises for eye mobility.

Diagonals. We looked up right, down left, up right, down left, up right, down left. Blinked, blinked, blinked.

Reverse diagonal. Left up, right down, left up, right down, left up, right down. Blinked, blinked, blinked.

Solarization of the eyes - treating the eyes with sunlight or other light - is one of the best exercises for restoring vision and relaxing the extraocular muscles.
